And we're off on our first Disney cruise! Unlike nearly EVERY trip we've been on which feature daily adventures, the "excursions" on this four-night cruise will simply be exploring and enjoy the massive new and biggest cruise ship in the Disney fleet. What a wonderful way to spend the holidays!
Day 1: December 18
From the moment we walked on board, and we're announced "Ladies and Gentlemen.....please welcome the LOVE FAMILY!" the experience has been as magical as you'd imagine a Disney Cruise would be. Well, it's Disney - duh. The photos from the first day......
As soon as you enter the terminal, the poles are decorated "a la Disney!"
The Grand Lobby
Each night you rotate to a different themed dining area. We started in the Marvel dining area and were entertained throughout the evening by a "live show" on the giant screens you see as the Marvel superheroes did battle with the villains ON BOARD the Disney Wish!
The Lighting Of The Tree Ceremony In The Main Lobby
BUT, unlike other Christmas cruises we've been on, the vast majority of the doors all have holiday decorations!
